Super Adventure Island

In Super Adventure Island, a 2D platformer openly inspired by Wonder Boy, players have to beat levels filled with obstacles and enemies. Luckily you can rely on the help of different weapons and forms of transportation, including skateboards and dragons.

Super Adventure Island's controls are practically identical to those found in the original Wonder Boy. Use the virtual crosspad on the left side of the screen to move your character and the buttons on the right to jump and use the weapon you've chosen.

As you beat levels in Super Adventure Island you'll get to new islands. Each has its own look and type of bad guys. Some of these islands also have weapons and special vehicles.

Super Adventure Island is quite an entertaining traditional platformer whose main problem lies in the obscene number of ads it shows. The graphics aren't anything special, but they still add to its charm.
